Here are the pictures many of you have been waiting for. We had a wonderful time at new village called ‘Kasoa’ outside Accra. Elizabeth, Breda and Doris went there on the first Sunday to be with Pastor Richard and the church, ‘Hacketstown Chapel’. It was such a blessing.
We then returned later in the week and bought 2 plots of land for the new church. This is a large enough place for a new church building, a new well and, eventually, a new school. Pastor Richard, Semolia and their son, Samuel, were so excited.
On the actual day when the land was purchased we arranged to see the Chief. He is the one who presides over the land and handles the sales. He actually enthroned Elizabeth as queen and sat her on his throne, an amazing privilege.
We now have our own Queen Elizabeth the third!
A big ‘Thank You’ to all of you who have contributed in any way towards this project. We have worked very hard and been careful all along so far to ensure that the support that you have sent has gone to its desired target. The land now legally belongs to the church and we want to help them develop it over the next number of years.
We need your help to do that so watch this space to see in what further ways you can help.
